Fingers, knuckles and nails are modelled individually, with the recesses left dark so the detail holds at a distance rather than flattening into silver. The band stays open between the two hands, so it flexes to the finger instead of committing to a size.

String method 1. Take a piece of string, a ribbon or a soft tape measure.
